Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic Nurse Unit Leader to oversee our units in Melbourne.
About the Role:
- Direct and manage unit operations for efficient results.
- Foster an exceptional patient and family-centered care culture.
- Provide mentorship and support to your team members.
- Effectively manage human, financial, and material resources.
- Deliver direct patient care when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with NSQHS standards.
Requirements:
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in inpatient mental health settings.
- Familiarity with NSQHS/ACHS Standards and HoNOS.
- Proven leadership skills in building high-performing teams.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities.
- Sound understanding of labor management and private healthcare funding.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to clinical excellence and customer-focused care.
- High level of computer literacy (MS Office and relevant databases).
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
