As a graduate trainee in corporate coverage, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients' strategic initiatives and contributing to a dynamic team focused on growth.

About the Role

You will be responsible for conducting thorough economic and industry analyses to provide valuable insights for our clients. This involves working closely with our coverage bankers to identify opportunities and develop innovative solutions.

  • Support coverage bankers on credit and risk-related issues, including preparing comprehensive transaction support memos for client transactions.
  • Liaise with business lines such as Infrastructure, Asset Backed Products, Debt Capital Markets, Acquisition Finance, Energy, Mining, and Real Estate to expand business opportunities.
  • Prepare high-quality pitch books and marketing materials for internal and external presentations, highlighting key client needs and market trends.
  • Manage client data, update internal databases, coordinate revenue tracking, and support budget forecasting.
  • Assist with the KYC process and documentation for onboarding new and existing clients, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Support roadshow event management, prepare briefing notes for C-suite client meetings, and record meeting minutes, maintaining accurate records of key discussions.
  • Assist with deal flows, including developing and reviewing deal checklists and coordinating the transaction approval process end-to-end.
Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as Mining Engineering.
  • Practical experience or vacation work is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong computer literacy skills, including proficiency in software applications and databases.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of operation.
  • A current and valid Manual Driver's Licence.
  • A National Police Clearance valid within the last 12 months.
  • The ability to pass pre-employment screening, including medical, drug and alcohol testing, and right to work checks.
