Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking skilled Timber Mill Operators to join our team on a Casual basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for end-to-end production, ensuring high quality timber products across different equipment and machinery.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Production and Quality Control:
  • Assisting with product grading, identifying defects, and accurately sawing and measuring timber products.
  • Moving, sorting, and strapping timber for processing and shipping.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • General labouring and mill duties, including maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Inventory management to ensure smooth production and minimize delays.

Requirements for Success:

  • Previous experience in machine operation, labouring, manual handling, or production is highly desirable.
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and punctuality are essential qualities.
  • Strong commitment to safety and knowledge of the timber industry are favourable.
  • Physical fitness and ability to manually handle various sizes of timber products are necessary.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills are required to produce high-quality work.
