About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Advisor to join our Private Business and Family Advisory team at Pitcher Partners Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing expert employment tax advice and assistance to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employment Tax Expertise: Develop and maintain relationships with clients to provide expert advice and assistance on employment tax matters, including FBT, Payroll Tax, Salary Packaging, Workers' Compensation, and Superannuation Guarantee.
  • Due Diligence Services: Conduct thorough due diligence services for clients to ensure compliance with employment tax regulations.
  • Employee Share Scheme Advice: Provide expert advice and guidance on employee share schemes, including reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Individual Tax Residency Advice: Offer inbound and outbound individual tax residency advice to clients.
Private Business and Family Advisory
  • Financial Account Preparation: Review client files and prepare first draft financial accounts and tax documents for management review.
  • Complex Accounting and Tax Engagements: Demonstrate a willingness to develop skills to prepare and deliver on complex accounting and taxation engagements that consistently exceed client expectations.
  • Client Service and Support: Be a regular point of contact for clients to assist in managing workflow and client expectations, ensuring consistency in exceptional client service.
  • Team Development and Support: Delegate with responsibility to team members and assist with developing junior members of the team.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Degree qualified (accounting and/or law are highly regarded), with completed CA/CPA/TIA qualification.
  • Experience: Experience in the application of various employment taxation matters in a professional environment.
  • Skills: Strong time management skills, ability to manage conflicting deadlines, and interpret relevant legislation.
  • Personal Qualities: Inquisitive, enjoy legal research, and possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
