About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Principal Civil Engineer to join our dynamic Civil Infrastructure team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical designs and assessments across transport and civil infrastructure projects.

As a Principal Civil Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from concept design to detailed design and construction. You will be part of a high-performing team of engineers, scientists, designers, and drafters who are passionate about digital delivery and committed to delivering exceptional results.

Main Responsibilities
  • Providing technical design and assessment services on multi-disciplinary project teams
  • Delivering high-quality and timely technical outputs that meet client expectations
  • Mentoring and supporting colleagues to foster learning and knowledge sharing within the team
  • Contributing to the development of innovative solutions and best practices in civil infrastructure design and delivery
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Principal Civil Engineer who has a strong background in civil infrastructure design and project delivery. You will have a Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality technical designs and assessments on complex projects.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders. You will also have a strong understanding of transport infrastructure design principles and Australian standards, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
