Nurse Transition Specialist

This is an opportunity to transition from General Nursing to Mental Health nursing with support. You will be provided with training and experience to enable you to seamlessly shift into this new role.
You will develop skills in risk assessment, mental state assessment, care planning, and knowledge of Mental Health nursing care and practice while undertaking this introductory role in mental health.
Key Responsibilities- To provide high-quality patient care in the mental health setting
- To work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- To contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans
Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA as a Division 1 Registered Nurse is essential. Australian working rights and current Influenza vaccination are also required.
Candidates must be willing to undergo a Background Check and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with consumers, carers, family members, and other professionals.
