Role SummaryWe are seeking a seasoned Business Assurance Manager to lead the establishment of our new Business Assurance function, ensuring quality assurance standards and frameworks meet business needs while maintaining regulatory compliance.This critical role plays a key part in driving successful business outcomes by implementing controls, assessing risks, and advising on necessary enhancements.The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Conducting assurance reviews across EG operations, functions, and vendors to evaluate associated risks and internal controls.
  • Developing an Annual Business Assurance Plan based on risk analysis for approval by the Risk Committee & CEO.
  • Managing risk and control processes to ensure adequate consideration is applied, conduct risk assessments, and advise on required enhancements.
  • Delivering Business Assurance reporting and insights by analyzing key trends and escalating risks or concerns.
 Key Responsibilities:
  • Proven management experience within a business assurance/audit or risk management role.
  • Detailed understanding of proactive and systematic techniques to gain assurance through risk data management processes.
  • Record of driving successful Business Assurance outcomes on complex enterprise and operational assurance programs, ideally within Fuel & Convenience.
  • Ability to lead a team and support the delivery of change.
  • Broad compliance knowledge and highly tuned relationship management skills.
  • Effective communication skills with confidence and credibility.
