About the Role

Are you a seasoned professional looking for a challenging opportunity to leverage your skills in assurance and compliance? We have an exciting role that involves working with our team to ensure our business practices align with regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain a detailed understanding of our business and risk profile, providing expert advice on areas of assurance and controls testing.
  • Support senior managers in stakeholder management engagement with internal stakeholders.
  • Complete assurance work following industry standards.
  • Prepare insightful reports that enable enhancement of our compliance framework and adherence to obligations.
  • Conduct in-depth reviews into areas of potential concern, including planning, scoping and performing detailed reviews on business strategy, projects, transactions and processes.

What You'll Need

  • A strong background in assurance roles, preferably within the financial services sector.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial services law and practice is desirable, but not essential.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and understanding of retail banking processes and products.
  • Experience working with senior leaders to manage issues and control gaps is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions using available information.
  • Excellent influencing, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to inspire others to action.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations.
