About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Policy Advisor to join our team in the Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development. As a Policy Advisor, you will play a key role in providing expert advice and support to our senior executives and ministers on a range of policy issues related to postal services and telecommunications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic advice and briefings to senior executives and ministers on policy issues related to postal services and telecommunications.
  • Develop and implement policy positions and recommendations to support the modernization of postal services in Australia.
  • Engage with stakeholders across government, industry, and the community to facilitate cooperation and progress policy outcomes.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform policy development and decision-making.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in policy development and analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
