About the Role

In this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support to individuals struggling with harmful alcohol and other drug use. Your primary goal will be to help clients achieve positive life changes through effective counselling interventions.

To accomplish this, you will conduct thorough assessments, identify areas of concern, and develop tailored plans to support clients in addressing their challenges. This may involve one-on-one or group sessions, depending on the client's needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based counselling interventions to support clients in reducing harms associated with alcohol and other drug use
  • Assess and develop individualized plans to address client challenges
  • Provide a range of intervention techniques to promote recovery and positive life changes
Requirements
  • Certificate IV or higher in Alcohol and Other Drugs or equivalent
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Demonstrated experience in counselling using a range of intervention techniques
