About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to assume a dual role in a newly created offering, reporting to both the Head of Corporate and the company's Public and Government Affairs Lead.

You will be commercially savvy and team-oriented, ensuring high-quality delivery against client objectives and adhering to Edelman values and behaviours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver advisory services to clients in corporate and public affairs communications.
  • Develop and execute advocacy strategies that influence positive reputation and favourable outcomes for our clients among corporate and government stakeholders.
  • Build relationships with government officials, policymakers, industry associations and other key stakeholders to influence public policy and regulatory environments.
  • Manage crisis, issues and reputation programmes.
  • Provide clients with insights and recommendations on navigating complex market landscapes.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in public affairs and corporate communications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence in presenting and selling ideas, stories or solutions, and in providing strategic counsel to clients.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Commercial acumen and proficiency with budgets and financial management.
  • Ability to manage competing interests with strong organisational and time management skills.
