About the Role
  • We are seeking a compassionate and organised individual to oversee the organisation, coordination, and management of our Special Education (SPARC) and Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC) programs.
  • The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring students receive individualised support and education.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and manage the SPARC and VPC programs, including overseeing staff and external providers to develop and implement strategies to support student success.
  2. Advocate for students with disabilities, promoting inclusivity and valuing their contributions within the school community.
  3. Work closely with families to provide ongoing support and connect them to their child's education, maintaining accurate records and reports to ensure seamless communication between stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A qualification as a teacher or suitable background with significant experience in disability and schools.
  • Current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Commitment to Christian values and ethos, demonstrated through daily practice.
