Waverley Christian College is a forward thinking and culturally diverse Christian co-educational school from Kinder to Year 12. We have been providing students with a quality Christian educational experience for over 45 years. With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2024.
Our College is dedicated to fostering a culture of inclusion and celebrating diversity. Our Learning Enhancement and Program Support (LEAPS) Department provides learning enrichment and support for a wide range of students throughout the College, and plays a pivotal role in ensuring every student can access and participate in education alongside their peers. The team consists of Learning Support Coordinators (LSCs), Learning Support Teachers (LSTs) for both intervention and enrichment, and Learning Support Assistants (LSAs). The department collaborates with parents, teachers and other specialists to form a multi-disciplinary approach to supporting students and their learning needs.
Our Support Program of Applied Readiness for Community (SPARC) program sits within our LEAPS department. 5. Be able to implement strategies and supports to help students succeed and feel included.
6. Be able to collaborate with teachers, students, external providers and other learning support staff.
