Midwife Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have recent experience and clinical skill in midwifery, including completion of a new graduate year or equivalent experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current registration with AHPRA Registered Midwife (division 1)
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
  • Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide woman centred care
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbal
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development
  • Ability to work a flexible roster, day, evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit/service requirements
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment
