Position: Clinical Nurse/Midwife Educator

Responsibilities
  • Identify development needs within the Nursing/Midwifery team and design tailored education plans.
  • Deliver impactful training to ensure high competency and 100% compliance across the ward.
  • Collaborate with Nursing and Midwifery Unit Managers to shape patient care through education.
  • Lead clinical excellence, empowering nursing and midwifery professionals with evidence-based, best-practice learning.
What You Will Bring To The Role (Qualifications)
  • Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife with AHPRA.
  • Relevant post-registration education qualification or equivalent education and clinical experience as deemed appropriate by the employer.
  • Recent extensive clinical experience deemed appropriate by the selection panel.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify learning needs and to plan, develop, deliver and evaluate education.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with a consultative approach.
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical teaching, mentoring and preceptorship.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to working with NMUM to foster a learning environment that supports continuous learning and reflective practice.
