Job Description:

Families face various challenges, including domestic and family violence, separation, and child protection matters. We offer expert guidance and care to empower them in overcoming these difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver individual and group counselling using evidence-based practices
  • Support families affected by domestic and family violence, separation, and child protection matters
  • Conduct intake, risk assessments, safety planning, and referrals
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to provide comprehensive support
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and data for compliance and service improvement
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or Behavioural Sciences (with eligible professional membership)
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and policies
  • Proven counselling skills, including family systems and brief solution-focused practice
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and professional integrity
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed, client-centred care principles
  • Certification requirements: current driver's licence, Blue Card, and AFP check
