Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Professional to join our team at KinCare. As a Care Worker Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
  • Offer social support and access to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay engaged and connected with their community.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as medication management and mobility assistance.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families.
  • Transport customers to appointments and provide social support during these interactions.
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia, requiring specialized knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

  • You must care about assisting our aged community and be committed to helping them live independently at home for longer.
  • You must have a current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle, as travel is a part of the role.
  • You must be able to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, prioritizing the needs of our customers.
  • You must be available to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work required.
  • You must be comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask for support from your Manager.
