Job Description:

As a key member of our childcare team, you will lead and oversee daily activities in the toddler room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for young learners. This role requires a dedicated professional who is passionate about supporting the learning journeys of young children.

The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging educational programs that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. They will also foster strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues through a warm and responsive approach.

Qualifications and Skills:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working with toddlers in a childcare or early learning setting
  • Strong understanding of child development, play-based learning, and inclusion strategies
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • A proactive and flexible approach to supporting children's individual learning journeys
Working Conditions:

This role requires a Working with Children Check (WWCC), First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certification. If you do not already hold these certifications, you must be willing to obtain them.
