**Diploma-Qualified Room Leader**

**Hours**: Monday to Friday, **9:00 AM - 4:30 PM**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and oversee daily activities, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for toddlers.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational programs that promote children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Provide a warm and responsive approach to children, fostering strong and trusting relationships.
- Work closely with families to understand and support each child's individual needs.
- Collaborate with other educators to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of care throughout the day.
- Maintain documentation, observations, and progress records in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Supervise and mentor team members within the room, ensuring best practices in early childhood education.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care** (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working with toddlers in a childcare or early learning setting.
- Strong understanding of child development, play-based learning, and inclusion strategies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- A proactive and flexible approach to supporting children's individual learning journeys.
- Current **Working with Children Check (WWCC), First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certification** (or willingness to obtain).
