Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Facade Coordinator to lead the successful delivery of high-quality façades on our construction projects. As a key team member, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and cost-effective project execution.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Procurement and Record-Keeping: Manage the ordering of facade materials, track deliveries, and maintain accurate records.
  • Sample Submissions and Approvals: Organize and oversee the submission of facade samples, ensuring compliance with project specifications and securing approvals.
  • International Coordination: Liaise with overseas suppliers and teams to manage inspections, approvals, and deliveries of facade materials.
  • Engineering and Design Coordination: Compile and organize engineering data, review design documents, and ensure all facade elements meet project specifications.
  • Delivery and Quality Control: Oversee the receipt of facade materials, verify against delivery dockets, report damages or discrepancies, and maintain a defects register.
  • Facade Protection and Defect Management: Ensure facade elements are protected on-site, manage a defects register, and coordinate resolution of any installation issues.
  • Subcontractor and Supplier Management: Select, coordinate, and oversee subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality and timely execution of facade installation.
  • Project Scheduling and Compliance: Maintain facade project timelines, monitor installation progress, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Installation Oversight and Training: Provide guidance to lead hands on installation requirements and ensure compliance with best practices and project-specific guidelines.
  • On-Site Quality Assurance and Handover: Conduct regular quality checks, oversee the handover process, and ensure the principal is informed on maintenance and care requirements.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Reporting: Facilitate clear communication between internal teams, clients, and external partners, while documenting project progress and challenges.
  • Issue Resolution and Continuous Improvement: Troubleshoot technical challenges, implement value management strategies, and contribute to process improvements for future projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree: In Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum experience: 2 years in facade coordination within the construction industry, showcasing progressive responsibility and hands-on experience.
  • Familiarity: With various facade materials, construction methods, and system design.
  • Candidates: Should have experience in coordinating the lifecycle of facade projects, from conception to completion.
  • Prior experience: In coordinating and managing large-scale projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Industry knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to facade systems.
  • Technical skills: Familiarity with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, BIM) and other relevant technical tools.
  • Skillset: Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
