Job Description">

Centrecare is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Case Worker to provide social, emotional, cultural, and/or mental health support to children, young people and their families. The successful candidate will work with the Child and Adolescent Forensic Service in the community or at Banksia Hill Detention Centre.

  • Provide social, emotional and/or mental health care to children, young people and their families who are clients of CAFS.
  • Provide cultural liaison and family engagement where relevant and provide cultural interpretations to the broader CAFS teams.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary environment to contribute to and enhance the provision of mental health assessments and relevant interventions.

Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate and up-to-date case notes, documentation, and reports in compliance with organisational policies and requirements.
