About this role
Working with vulnerable families requires a high level of dedication and passion. As a Child and Family Case Worker, you will be working with complex families who are at risk of entering the child protection system.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Intensive Family Support Service, where you will provide a mix of therapeutic and in-home practical care to support families. Our service enables families to work together to keep children safe and achieve their goals.
You will lead case management with families in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment. You will identify and prioritise their concerns, provide a mix of therapeutic and in-home practical care, and develop collaborative case plans to ensure we are prioritising the families' presenting concerns.
The ability to grow, develop and feel empowered to make a difference in people's lives is essential for this role. Let's work together to make a meaningful difference.
Your part in our team- We are passionate about helping people who are vulnerable, with previous experience working with children and families who are at risk of or engaged under the child protection act.
- A tertiary qualification (minimum bachelor's degree) in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or a related discipline with substantial experience, knowledge, and skills to perform the role.
- Current QLD working with children check (Blue Card).
- Current open QLD drivers' licence.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
