Job Title: Group Leader/Research Director

About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional scientist or clinician-scientist to lead a research program in cardiometabolic research at the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute. The successful candidate will have a strong national and international scientific reputation, with a track record of attracting peer-review research funding and publishing in premier journals.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead a research program that is internationally recognised for its quality and ethical standards
* Maintain a strong publication record
* Establish collaborative projects within and outside the Institute
* Effectively manage a team and oversee a complex research effort
