
Army Recruit Administration Coordinator

This position is responsible for the administration of Army recruits at the 1st Recruit Training Battalion.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure initial administration for all Army recruits is completed, including pay and personnel records.
- Administer recruits during training, including personnel tracking, leave, travel, trade transfer requests, and updating corporate records.
- Conduct exit administration for trainees leaving the Army.
- Ensure recruits and staff comply with requirements to achieve security clearances.
- Monitor and manage unit security documentation and briefings.
The 1st Recruit Training Battalion plays a crucial role in the Army, overseeing the training and administration of new recruits and their staff.
Our team consists of military personnel, APS members, and contractors working together to support the Australian Defence Force.
Requirements- Motivated, adaptable individuals with strong organisational and interpersonal skills are required.
- Experience in small team leadership would be an advantage.
- The successful candidate will hold or have the ability to obtain a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance.

- Cultivating productive, respectful, and collaborative relationships within and external to their team.
- Providing personnel administration guidance, developing local procedures, and responding positively and flexibly to change.
- Ensuring the successful conduct of complex personnel administration work.
- Demonstrating the ability to manage the collection, maintenance, and interrogation of a wide variety of data using Microsoft products.
