This position oversees the management of operating theatres, collaborating with Assistant Directors to drive service excellence and support clinical decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Lead theatre staff in delivering patient-centred care.
- Oversee daily operations including theatre bookings, resource allocation, and compliance with safety standards.
- Drive continuous improvement and quality initiatives across the department.
- Mentor and develop staff through education, orientation, and professional support.
- AHPRA registration.
- Minimum 5 years' postgraduate experience in acute care.
- Demonstrated perioperative nursing experience.
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and support teams.
