Job Opportunity in Environmental Engineering

This is a challenging role that involves the maintenance and development of scholarly research activities through defined projects. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Environmental Engineering and relevant work experience, as well as expertise in areas such as air quality and treatment, water quality and management, chemical and sensory odorant analysis, and data science including bioinformatics and/or machine learning.

  • Maintaining and developing scholarly research activities through defined projects
  • Contributing towards teaching and learning at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
  • Collaborating with industry stakeholders and practitioners in the Australian water and resource industries
  • Undertaking high-quality academic research and conducting independent and applied research with limited supervision

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities. They should also be proficient in using various software applications, including programming languages and statistical tools.

Required Qualifications and Skills
  • PhD in Environmental Engineering
  • Relevant work experience in the field of environmental engineering
  • Knowledge and expertise in areas such as air quality and treatment, water quality and management, chemical and sensory odorant analysis, and data science including bioinformatics and/or machine learning
  • Ability to conduct high-quality academic research and independent research with limited supervision
