Deckhand with Coxswains

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Deckhand to join our team on our vessels operating out of Port Douglas. As a Deckhand, you will be responsible for the safe operation of small craft and semi-submersible coral viewers, delivering reef interpretive commentary, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Operation of small craft and semi-submersible coral viewers
- Delivery of reef interpretive commentary
- Providing a high level of customer service to our guests
- Ensuring customer and staff safety is maintained at all times
- Safely handling ropes, lines, and fenders
- Assisting other crew members as required

About You
- Applicants require a minimum qualification of Coxswains NC1
- Provide First Aid certification
- Competency in rope handling and docking of vessels
- Ability to effectively communicate and work well in a small team environment
- A dive qualification would be an advantage
