The estimated salary for this role is between $120,000 and $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Transformation Programme Director to lead the delivery of complex transformational change initiatives within the Optus consumer division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring value is realised on time and to high standards using various delivery methodologies.

You will coordinate initiatives that may include business improvement, colleague, and customer experience enhancements, as well as digital and technology projects. Your primary focus will be on achieving desired business outcomes by maintaining strong project governance and collaborating closely with key stakeholders, sponsors, squad members, and business leads.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Leading and delivering complex transformational change initiatives
  • Coordinating initiatives across multiple teams and value streams
  • Maintaining strong project governance and stakeholder engagement
  • Achieving desired business outcomes and ensuring successful adoption of new or enhanced capabilities
  • Managing sophisticated dependencies and programme finances

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A proven track record of delivering medium to large-scale and complex initiatives using a variety of delivery methodologies
  • Strong program delivery, governance, and reporting skills; proficient in MS products and digital tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Experience delivering in a fast-paced, customer-focused transformation environment with numerous obstacles and conflicting priorities
  • Demonstrated success in managing medium to large complex programs in a matrix reporting structure
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and facilitation skills
  • Formal Project management and Agile certifications
  • Tertiary qualification in IT, computer science, or a related business field
