Job Summary

Sydney's inner-city suburbs offer a unique blend of creativity, diversity and liveability. As a Horticulture Trainee, you'll play a key role in maintaining the beauty of our parks and open spaces.

This traineeship provides hands-on experience and skills development in horticulture. Over 24 months, you'll complete a Certificate III in Horticulture and work towards key competencies. You'll be part of a team delivering high-quality horticultural and landscaping services, while building a strong foundation for your future career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain our parks and open spaces, carrying out a mix of horticultural and landscaping tasks, including mowing, planting, mulching and fertilising
  • Work with the team to ensure safe and effective delivery of services
  • Contribute to the maintenance of our trucks and equipment

Requirements:

  • Commitment to undertaking and completing all required tasks
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • C Class Driver's Licence (P plate acceptable)
