We are seeking a talented Horticulture Trainee to join our team
About the JobThis hands-on traineeship in horticulture offers you the opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining valuable skills and knowledge.
You will be part of a fully supported program that blends on-the-job training with face-to-face classes. Over the next 24 months, you'll work towards key competencies, complete assessments, and track your progress as you grow your career.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out a mix of horticultural and landscaping tasks – from mowing, planting, mulching and fertilising to spraying and watering – while keeping our trucks and equipment in good order.
- Work in a team to keep our parks and open spaces looking their best.
- Commitment to undertake and complete all required tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively to the public, co-workers and management.
- Current C Class Driver's Licence (P plate acceptable).
