About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team at Blue Collar Skills. As an Automotive Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality electrical work in our workshop.

Key Responsibilities

  • Always adhere to safety standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate with other workers to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Liaise with estimators as required.
  • Notify management of any product shortages that may impact production.
  • Ensure the quality of electrical work meets the highest standards.
  • Check the schedule daily to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Carry out pre and post-repair scans using diagnostic tools.
  • Perform A/C de-gas and re-gas, repairs, and other tasks as required.
  • Fit aftermarket products and replace defective parts.
  • Use and maintain test equipment and follow procedures for dismantling, removing, replacing, and testing.
  • Attend company-provided training courses to stay up-to-date with new electrical systems.
  • Attend roadside assistance calls in our service van.

Requirements

  • Candidate must be Trade Qualified and Licensed.

Preferred Skills

  • Mechanical knowledge to assist in electrical work.
  • Computer knowledge to apply software with electronic devices.
  • An aptitude for technical activities.
  • An eye for quality and high level of customer service.
