Salary Package

We offer an attractive salary package that includes a competitive remuneration rate of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

This role will involve managing a small team, creating rosters, generating orders, completing stock takes, and other key responsibilities in the meat department. You will work closely with the Store Manager and be responsible for leading the team to achieve excellent customer service and sales results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a small team of butchers
  • Create rosters and allocate tasks
  • Generate orders and control stock levels
  • Complete regular stock takes and maintain accurate records
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Australian trade qualification in Butchery (essential)
  • Fresh food retail knowledge is desired
  • Ability to lead and manage a team
  • Ability to order and control costs
  • An excellent understanding of gross profit calculations
  • Accurate team rostering
  • Possess passion and enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to liaise with team members and management
  • A flair for merchandising
  • Strong leadership and delegation skills
  • Ability to coach, train, and performance manage teams
  • Commitment to work health and safety standards
