Job Title: Clinical Operations Manager - Allied Health Services

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per annum + super + benefits

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have strong clinical skills and the ability to manage their own caseload while providing supervision and support to junior staff members. In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Providing therapeutic sessions to referred clients using evidence-based interventions
  • Developing tailored treatment plans for referred clients using prior knowledge and research skills
  • Collating handouts for referred clients for homework and therapeutic aids
  • Completing electronic client notes and reports for sessions to an appropriate standard as outlined by APS Code of Ethics/Supervisor standards
  • Writing letters to other health professionals and external agencies to assist the client in continual access to health and other services
  • Preparing for and attending weekly clinical supervision sessions as per AHPRA guidelines
  • Attending professional development in accordance with AHPRA registration requirements
  • Complying with subpoena or court appearance request on behalf of referred clients
  • Attending case conferences for referred clients to assist in service provision
You will also be responsible for:
  • Recruitment for staff in the team across all sites
  • Management of KPIs for all staff in the team as well as team performance
  • Taking on very complex and serious cases where seniors are unable to
  • Hiring and firing of staff
  • Resource management and budget allocation as per HEAH


About You
You will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment. You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments. In addition, you will have:
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Strong clinical knowledge and skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
