Electrical Supervisor Job Description

This role involves managing the day-to-day activities of an electrical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all maintenance electrical works are completed safely and in compliance with established procedures.

The ideal candidate will have leadership and performance development experience within a mining environment, as well as strong communication and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily activities of electrical team inclusive of contractors.
  • Ensure safe completion of maintenance electrical works and compliance with established safe work procedures.
  • Develop and maintain sound working relationships with service providers.
  • Provide ongoing leadership and mentoring for the Electrical team through effective use of Performance Management Systems.
Requirements:
  • Australian recognized Electrical trade qualification & WA Electrical License.
  • Statutory 26 Supervisor Certificate.
  • High Voltage Switching Qualifications And Experience.
  • Previous Electrical Supervisory experience with strong practical knowledge.
  • Demonstrated leadership and performance development experience within a mining environment.

This role offers a competitive salary package, including a site allowance, private health insurance allowance, quarterly bonus scheme, salary sacrifice options, and increased annual leave entitlements.

The successful candidate will work on an 8 days on 6 days off roster, fly-in fly-out from Perth or drive-in drive-out from the Goldfields region. They will also have access to employee assistance programs, long service leave pro rata after 5 years of continuous service, and educational assistance.

The role requires the ability to multitask, communicate clearly and be proactive. Instrumentation experience is an advantage, as is SAP knowledge and a valid manual driver's license.
