Senior Data Migration Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Migration Specialist to help healthcare organizations transition to Epic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data migration, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills.

This is a fast-paced environment where you will support continuity of care for providers. As a Senior Data Migration Specialist, you will collaborate with clinical and technical teams to extract, map and transform data from legacy electronic health records (EHRs) into Epic, ensuring accuracy through multiple validation cycles.

The role requires a high degree of autonomy, initiative, and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with the development team to analyze workflows and requirements for migration with client subject matter experts, perform validation of migrated data to maintain accuracy and integrity, lead the client team through the validation process and triage reported issues, act as liaison between development, technical teams and the client, provide training to key stakeholders and the client validation team, and maintain data integrity by following our methodology and applying meticulous attention to detail through iterative testing.

You will be responsible for managing multiple projects across various clients, building strong relationships with clients and colleagues, communicating effectively with both technical and clinical audiences, and analyzing workflows and requirements for migration with client subject matter experts.

In order to succeed in this role, you should have 1-3 years professional experience in healthcare IT, experience implementing or supporting Epic, ideally in an analyst role, strong problem-solving, attention to detail and analysis skills, experience with EMR systems or other healthcare information systems, and exceptional communication and organization skills.
