Job Overview

As a key professional in our Quality & Safeguarding department, you will play a vital role in leading compliance efforts in NSW. This position involves coordinating self-assessments against relevant standards, closing gaps in our systems and processes, monitoring changes to standards and engaging stakeholders, collaborating with the Risk and Compliance Team, partnering with the Knowledge Management Team, and preparing for external audits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead compliance initiatives to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance compliance processes and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance-related issues and concerns
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance policies and procedures
  • Ensure effective communication and reporting of compliance matters to senior management

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A proven track record in compliance roles, preferably within the disability services sector
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
