Looking for an experienced and self-motivated Electrician to join our Energy team at Malaga. Your main responsibilities will include:

About the Opportunity:\
  • \
  • Assist management in coordinating and assigning personnel tasks.\
  • Evaluate the quality of team members' work and provide feedback for reviews.\
  • Guide, mentor, and assist the team as required.\
  • Assist in work planning, scheduling, and resource allocation, focusing on the weekly electrical maintenance plan.\
  • Ensure employees receive adequate training and instruction.\
  • Participate in the company's continuous improvement programs, including implementing the 5S system to minimise waste.\
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.\
  • Read technical diagrams and schematics.\
  • Perform general electrical maintenance.\
  • Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.\
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.\
  • Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.\

Key Skills & Experience:\
  • \
  • Australian recognised Electrical Trade certificate and Grade A State Electrical Licence.\
  • Minimum of 2 years post-trade experience.\
  • Deep knowledge of electrical systems, power generation, blueprints, maintenance, and repairs.\
  • Experience in the renewable energy field.\
  • Thorough understanding of safety procedures, legal regulations, and guidelines to meet AS 3000 standards.\
  • Cert IV in Management or Leadership Training (Preferred).\
  • Ability to mentor apprentices.\
  • Current and valid Class C driver's license.\
