As a Procurement Specialist, you will have a comprehensive understanding of the Commonwealth Procurement Framework and its application in sourcing ICT solutions.

You will work collaboratively as part of multi-disciplinary teams and under limited direction, using professional skills, experience, and stakeholder management to deliver procurement outcomes for a dedicated team.

  • Conduct end-to-end ICT sourcing activities, from market insights and sourcing strategies to contract execution
  • Ensure procurements are conducted in accordance with the Commonwealth Resources Management Framework and the Commonwealth Procurement Rules

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Ability to conduct complex sourcing projects for IT commodities, hardware, software products, and licensing agreements, as well as ICT services and contractors
  • Provide high-quality procurement and contract management services to business areas

The successful candidate will hold a Certificate IV in Government (Procurement and Contracting) or higher qualification and possess knowledge of ICT and Cyber procurements.

A minimum Baseline Security Clearance is required, or the ability to obtain one.
