We are seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow to join our dynamic research group and contribute to the development of high-throughput quantum chemistry workflows.

">Key Responsibilities">
  • ">
  • Develop automated workflows and collaborate with industry partners to establish a workflow for high-throughput generation of accurate ab initio reference benchmarks.">
  • Conduct accurate wavefunction calculations on high-performance computer clusters to generate ab initio reference benchmarks.">
  • Analyse data, work closely with the industry partner, and contribute to the preparation of research publications and grant applications.">
  • Supervise students and participate in the supervision and mentoring of research students within the Goerigk research group.">
  • Conduct internationally competitive research in theoretical quantum chemistry, resulting in publications in highly reputable journals.">
">Requirements">
  • ">
  • A PhD (or near completion) in Theoretical Quantum Chemistry or a related discipline is required.">
  • Experience in developing and/or applying quantum-chemical wavefunction methods to molecular systems is essential.">
  • An aptitude for research with a sound publication record commensurate with experience is expected.">
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills in English are necessary.">
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines and complete projects are required.">
  • Expertise in machine learning and/or programming is highly desirable.">
