Research Fellow Opportunity in Theoretical Quantum Chemistry

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow to join our dynamic research group and contribute to the development of high-throughput quantum chemistry workflows.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in an industry-funded project aimed at establishing a workflow for high-throughput generation of accurate ab initio reference benchmarks.

This exciting opportunity will allow you to contribute to innovative research, collaborate with an industry partner, and publish your findings in academic journals.

As a Research Fellow, you will work under the supervision of a leader in the field and gain invaluable experience in a supportive and dynamic research environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • PhD in Theoretical Quantum Chemistry or a related discipline
  • Expertise in theory and application of quantum chemistry, including wavefunction methods and high-performance computing
  • Strong publication record commensurate with experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills in English
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines and complete projects
  • Experience in developing and/or applying machine learning and/or programming techniques (highly desirable)
