Senior Mental Health Clinician

This role serves as the primary mental health expert for a prominent healthcare institution.
The position of Expert Mental Health Professional is responsible for conducting timely mental health assessments, collaborating with multiple parties, providing guidance and support, and ensuring operational excellence by assisting the healthcare institution in meeting local and state performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide advanced clinical consultancy services within a mixed clinical environment
- Lead initiatives in state, national, and international mental health nursing and specialist clinical groups
- Develop patient care plans based on assessment findings, incorporating patient input, prioritizing tasks, and evaluating against established goals
- Deliver exceptional patient and family-centered care in a team-focused environment
- Serve as a mentor and role model to junior staff
- Current registration with a reputable healthcare practitioner agency
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent qualification
- At least 5 years of full-time postgraduate experience in mental health nursing, including 3 years of full-time equivalent experience in a related field, with an approved postgraduate qualification relevant to mental health nursing
