Strategic Planning Role

We are seeking a skilled Strategic Planner to join our team in the Urban Futures unit. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing strategic planning frameworks that ensure a vibrant, sustainable future for our community.

This full-time position offers you the chance to engage with complex planning issues, collaborate with experts, and make a tangible impact on land use and development controls.

As a Strategic Planner, you will work closely with senior managers to dive into project-based initiatives and actively participate in preparing vital land use strategies and policies.

Your insights and innovative ideas will help us navigate the challenges of urban planning and environmental management.

  • Tertiary qualifications in environmental planning or a related discipline.
  • Solid understanding of planning issues and practices, coupled with strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in IT, with a desire to leverage advanced tools like GIS and computer modeling.
