
Coffee Industry Relationship Builder

We are seeking a charismatic and driven professional to join our team as a Business Development Manager. As a frontline advocate for the brand, you will be responsible for growing our network and presence in Victoria's southern states by building relationships with potential and current customers.
In this role, you will have the ability to:
- Educate and inspire prospective customers about the benefits of being a wholesale business partner.
- Increase awareness of the brand, product range, and activities to build relationships, generate leads, and grow brand awareness.
- Represent the company at industry events and other forums, where needed.
- Partner with sales operations, marketing, production, and dispatch teams to provide demand planning insights and activation requirements for customers.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a passion for coffee, knowledge and experience in the coffee industry (preferred), and a minimum of 3 years of experience in new business development. You will also need to have outstanding communication, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and within a team.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a deep understanding of market dynamics and proactively identifying opportunities to grow the business.
- Developing and executing strategies to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
To be considered for this role, you will need to possess:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in new business development.
- Knowledge and experience in the coffee industry (preferred).
- Outstanding communication, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work autonomously and within a team.
- A flexible, open-minded approach to evolving responsibilities and opportunities.
You will also need to be able to travel regularly and possess a driver's license. A strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software platforms is also essential.
