About the Role:
Our organisation is seeking a skilled and experienced Pavement Maintenance Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing pavements across our region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the repair of potholes and edge wear/breaks using bitumen patching techniques/products in varying weather conditions.
- Operate and maintain small plant and hand tools in a safe and effective manner.
- Contribute to a positive safety culture by completing required documentation, reporting incidents/hazards/near misses and contributing to team discussions.
- Deliver safe and effective traffic control services in accordance with work zone traffic management plans and Council's category 'G' registration.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A Construction Induction Certificate (WHS White Card) or equivalent.
- A Class MR Driver Licence.
- A SafeWork accredited certificate for Traffic Controller.
Benefits:
- A 76-hour fortnight working schedule.
- A salary range from $54,776 to $62,992 per annum plus 12% superannuation.
Additional Requirements:
The successful candidate will be required to undergo vaccination against Hepatitis A and B and Q Fever.
