We are seeking passionate and experienced Educators to join our team at Sparkways, providing high-quality early childhood education and care that empowers every child to thrive.
About the RoleThis part-time position involves working with 3 and 4-year-old children, including those with additional needs, in a play-based, child-led pedagogy environment. As an Educator, you will be responsible for creating engaging learning experiences, documenting children's progress, and contributing to a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement learning programs that cater to diverse needs and abilities
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to foster a sense of community
- Scaffold and document children's learning through observations and stories
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher
- Extensive experience working with 3 and 4-year-old children, including those with additional needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to play-based, child-led pedagogy and inclusive practices
