Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert medical advice and guidance to claims teams to support their decision-making processes.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance claims teams' medical knowledge and expertise.
  • Communicate complex medical information in clear and concise terms, empowering claims teams to make informed decisions.
  • Analyze and assess GP reports to recommend potential support for claimants.
  • Contribute to project work, reviewing and developing medical guidelines for claims management.

About You

  • A medical degree and current AHPRA registration are essential.
  • You possess a broad understanding of medical conditions that may impact a claimant's ability to work and treatment options.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, able to simplify complex medical concepts for non-medical professionals.
  • Exhibit strong time management and prioritization skills, meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality results.
  • Showcase excellent written communication skills, with the ability to write and review guidelines.
  • Possess a passion for coaching and developing others, enabling non-medical claims teams to thrive.
