**Mental Health Clinician Role:**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Clinician to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health services to individuals and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions that are person-centred and tailored to the needs of clients.
  • Create and implement new mental health services that meet the needs of local communities, including culturally and linguistically diverse groups.
  • Work collaboratively with general practitioners, area health services, NGOs, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support to clients.
  • Utilize technology, such as telehealth, to deliver services and improve access to care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary clinical team meetings to enhance the use of evidence-based interventions and improve client outcomes.
  • Provide outreach services to ensure that all clients have access to the support they need.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or another allied health discipline recognized by the tertiary mental health sector.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or relevant professional body.
  • Experience or a keen interest in delivering a range of evidence-based treatments for people with mental illness, particularly behavioral and CBT interventions.
  • Comfortable with clinical software and able to utilize technology to streamline work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
