About the Role

The Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) is seeking an Aboriginal Cultural Consultant to join our team. As an identified Aboriginal position, you will be accountable to the Director, Organisational Development and Workforce Strategy for the coordination and development of learning programs and resources with significant Aboriginal content.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing culturally responsive services and work respectfully with Aboriginal staff by reinforcing strategies, structures, and processes.
  • Using a system-wide holistic approach to improve cultural capability and providing policy/program development in terms of culturally appropriate training programs.

CALHN includes South Australia's major quaternary facility, the Royal Adelaide Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre, and the Repat Health Precinct. We also deliver mental health services at Glenside Health Services and at a range of other locations across the metropolitan and regional areas.
