Job Summary:

The Assistant Director is a key member of the Green Leaves Early Learning team, providing leadership support to the Centre Director in the day-to-day operations and successful running of the Centre. This role is responsible for supporting the team in the development and delivery of high-quality education and care, and actively mentoring and developing the broader team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership support to the Centre Director in the day-to-day operations of the Centre.
  • Support the team in the development and delivery of high-quality education and care programs.
  • Actively mentor and develop the broader team, including educators and support staff.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Centre policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Centre Director and other senior staff to achieve Centre goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in early childhood education and care.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, children, and families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on achieving Centre goals and objectives.
