Indigenous Nursing Educator

This position is targeted at enhancing nursing education and research, focusing on embedding Indigenous knowledges.
About The Role
The Department of Nursing seeks an experienced nurse to contribute to developing the nursing and healthcare curriculum with a focus on Indigenous person-centred practice and technology/innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- A willingness to undertake a teaching qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical nursing settings.
- High organisational and administrative skills with the capacity to lead course delivery.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A capacity to contribute to research teams and partnerships and in practice research supervision is preferred.
Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in Nursing and eligibility for AHPRA registration.
- A PhD or equivalent experience is highly desirable, or a demonstrated willingness to engage in Higher Degree Research studies.
